Ultra with tube poweramp tips and tricks sugestions

Hello guys, I'm starting to use the Ultra, 11.0 firmware, with my Carvin T-100 tube poweramp and want to know tips/tricks on how to improve my high gain patches, especially the new recto, das metal and peavey 5150II amp sim, with filter blocks, GEQ or PEQ.

I started just using a drive block and amp block, the poweramp sim stay on.

Anybody have a suggestion start point to improve that patches ( GEQ before/after amp block, Cliff trick filter block after amp block?)

The Carvin T100 powering a 2x12 cab with V30 speakers.

i noticed a huge difference when cranking the damp and sag settings when using mine (vht 2/90/2)

at lower volumes i add just a tad bit of sag when coupling the ultra with my mesa 295 power amp. at louder volumes, i take the power amp sim off to let the mesa do the heavy lifting.
