I don't know. It sounds really off. I think you really need to break the headstock off and repair it before you can get the later incarnations of I Will Follow. <joke>

As a big U2 fan, that is dead on - well done sir! I saw an interview several years back with Joe Satriani where he was asked about how he comes up with riffs. He said something to the effect of, "The best riffs are really simple" - and he starts playing "I Will Follow" - then he says, "That just genius". So true. The way it plays off the bass line is just fantastic... and those big open chords during the verse make a great contrast.
