tube pre amp for acoustic guitar preset?

I also play my western guitar through the AX8. I use the tube pre amp in combination with different cabs. This goes into my FRFR active wedge (Dynacord AXM).
1.
Do you acoutic guys use this amp or another one or just no amp?
2.
Apart from the position of the monitor: what are your EQ tricks to avoid feedback? Where do you set your notch filter to dial out feedback problems. I know this depends on the situation like room etc, but I am curious.

I use the Tube pre with my acoustic quite a bit - I usually have no cab block

I guess, I would use the PEQ to fight feedback.

The feedback notches to set in a PEQ will be based on the resonant frequencies of your acoustic's wood body, the type of pickup/mic, and somewhat on the room as well.

I use null filter blocks for gain and a tone match of a Fishman Aura pedal in lieu of a cab block.

I felt like the tube preamp wasn't adding anything for my tastes and prefer to use PEQ, Graphic EQ and tone match to get where I wanted to be.
