Temple Audio Duo 34 Flight Case

First of all, damn. that is a clean looking board. real nice. I thought about getting a mod for Inst cable for guitar. Are you finding you need a buffer of any kind or not running too long of cable length?
Thanks! appreciate the comment. Cable length isn't that long from the FM9 to the tail and I usually use a 6m max length Klotz cable plugged into the input of the tail. No buffer needed and I find I get a good signal from it. Always sounds great! I did have the tails made for me from a decent place over here in a UK. I always use them, their work is really good quality. So that always helps.

I just do it for ease really when setting up at a gig and also wear and tear on the FM9's connectors.

Hey Paul! This looks great. I'm working on replicating this. Where did you get the rubber grommets, and what size did you end up with?
It was a while ago now! I don't own that pedalboard anymore. It was probably Amazon or eBay. I can't remember the exact size but it was probably around 40mm total. I wouldn't go no more than 50mm.

I hope that helps!

Thanks. Looks nice. I should have mentioned that I have the Temple Audio 34 Pedalboard too. It looks like from your pic that this is the same setup I have. I mainly want to get the Temple flight case because of the wheels. The soft case version works well. It's just I'm getting old. Haha.

I was looking at the duo 34 flight case on the Long and McQuade site here in Canada and I see no mention of wheels and it doesn't show that in the picture. The only reason I stuck with the soft case is there were no wheels, I can see, on the flight case. I'm getting old to and would love a flight case with wheels. With the FM9, the EV-1 and a few pedals on my Duo 34 it makes it my heaviest piece of gear.

Totally awesome, near perfect FM9 setup - and you don't own it any more? What did you change to? Did you sell the board, or the whole rig? Just curious, becasue it was a killer rig!

Thanks! I wish I still had it, unfortunately I had to sell it and use the funds for a new car! I still have my Axe though and I use that for both the modelling and with my JP2C head. I have an RJM Mastermind GT controlling it all with a small loop switcher under my board. There's a couple of pedals in the FX loop and also in the front end of the amp. A bit overkill I know but I like using it all.

I think I'll probably get an FM3 again and use it with my RJM controller, just so I have a compact version of my rig if need it! Might even get into the Synergy stuff too at some point.

Awesome rigs, all. Big Boogie fan, had the RK years ago, I would think the ultimate end-all rig for me would be as you're set up, only with the Road King head. Absolute best of all words. Sadly, had to lay off my imaginary roadie crew to use that for gigs. Ha ha, overkill for some is the perfect/ultimate for others. The FM9, for me, does great Triaxis sounds (had one of those for years too), which is my second choice of Boogie. Goodonya' - FM3 an awesome smaller rig; never tried the Synergy stuff, looks very interesting.

I used to have a RK MKII as well! Fantastic amp! I wish I still owned that one. Maybe Gibson will reissue it with midi this time? Fingers crossed lol. The Triaxis model is also my go to in the Axe, FM9 etc. Sounds really good!

I've seen a few players use the Synergy stuff, never tried it ether but it does look good.
