Taylor Acoustic Input 2 low volume to FRFR speaker

Hi,

I have an AxeFx 2 XL and I have my electric guitar plugged into the front jack and a preset for my rock tones.

For live purposes I want to plug in my Taylor acoustic (es2 system) into the input 2 mono on the rear of the axefx and setup a preset which adds a bit of reverb and routes the acoustic signal to the same output 1 to FRFR speaker.

What I’m finding is that the volume of the acoustic patch is very very low and I can hardly hear it coming out the speaker but when I switch to my electric preset it’s plenty loud.

I have set the input 2 input I/o level in the I/o screen and it is getting a good input signal.

I have added the FX loop block and a reverb block.

I’ve tried reading the manual and can’t find out how I’m supposed to setup this scenario.

What am I doing wrong ?

Many thanks
Neil

I don’t have a 2 anymore, but basically the amp/cab blocks amplify the sound a lot on your electric preset.
Add a volume or filter block to your acoustic preset and crank the output to match levels. An EQ block will also work and allow you to eq your sound.
