Taming the Monster - Building an Amp/Cab Preset in the Axe-FX II + Tweaking It

Just stumbled onto this thread; Thank You for the head start. Learned lots of good solid stuff & my frustration level is gone! I've had the Axe for about a week and was doing "ok" but everything was either too dark or had too much fizz - or both...I'd have a "blanket over the speaker" tone with a noticable high end fizz. This went a long way to eliminating that. Thanks again!

I just wanted to add my thanks to everyone else's for the great teaching you are offering.
I always new how powerful the AXe Fx is. It's just that like other guitar processors I have owned, what is missing is good ,basic tips and teaching to help people get the most out of it.
Otherwise it's like owning a Ferrari, and pushing it to work everyday , instead of driving it.

So thanks for filling in the gaps, and keep them coming !
