Switching from FC12 To FC6 - Saving Layout "Presets"

Is there a way to save layouts settings specific to a unit so when you attach the FC12 or the FC6 you can recall layouts specific to attached controller? I want to be able to recall settings previously programmed for a specific unit.

Maybe even store multiple layouts (presets) by unit type

OK -- so there is no internal A/B storage for a saved " FC6 instance" / "FC12 Instance" ...not a big deal but it would be nice to have.

When I had both FC-6 and FC-12, I used layouts 1-4 for my FC-12 and 5-8 for my FC-6. I just changed the Layout names to something like "Main" vs "Main6" to indicate the FC it was used with. I've since gave my FC-6 to a friend and solely use the FC-12.
