Superdeterministic Universe

Well, if we are going to take this thread seriously, I must say that my previous comment about stupidity as an universal superdeterministic constant was not jut a random rant for fun, but it is based on a key Buddhist principle.

According to Buddhism, stupidity is the origin of everything we know. It is the origin of all the cycle of life and death.

Stupidity in Pali language is “Avijja”, which also means “ignorance”, “delusion” or “lack of skill”.

The Buddhist theory of dependent co-arising (Paticcasamuppada in Pali) or Doctrine of Casualty has Avijja as its root. From Avijja arises all phenomena.

Conditioned by ignorance (stupidity, delusion), fabrications arise;
Conditioned by fabrications, consciousness arises;
Conditioned by consciousness, mind-matter arise;
Conditioned by mind-matter, six sense bases arise;
Conditioned by six sense bases, contact arises;
Conditioned by contact, sensation arises;
Conditioned by sensation, craving arises;
Conditioned by craving, clinging arises
Conditioned by clinging, becoming arises;
Conditioned by becoming, birth arises;
Conditioned by birth, aging-death-sorrow-lamentation-pain-misery-grief arise.

The basic premise is that "if this exists, that exists; if this ceases to exist, that also ceases to exist". Therefore, the conditioning cycle can be broken if the cause (stupidity) ceases to exist.

I’m not going to extend myself with further details. Check for Avijja and dependent co-arising if interested.
