I don't know if anyone else might be interested but I just made an Axe FX II on-stage stand from a standard SKB case and a Roland Drum Hardware stand. I'm dropping the information here in case its useful to anyone else. See pictures at the end of this posting.
I bought a 19" rackmount case made by SKB (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002WJHFX2) for my FX II. It protects the equipment but takes up a lot of "surface space" somewhere on a usually crowded stage. To solve the problem I made a removable mounting adaptation so that I could put it on top of a "stand" like used for Cymbals, Drum Pads etc. I chose the Roland PDS-10 (http://www.rolandus.com/products/details/767). Here's a photo of the finished product. It is great to have the FX II right near me on stage (especially since I haven't received my MFC-101 yet!). The base-plate attaches/detaches in seconds so it goes from Flight-Case to side-mounted rack in less than a minute.
Drop a note here or contact me directly for more info and I'll be happy to share.
