Stand in switches question

I would like to add my dual switch -see pic. To be able to access scenes 4 and 5 with out going to the next scene lay out page. What am I missing?

None of your FM3 switches are set up to access Scene 4 or 5 -- on the FM3 define a switch to access Scene 4 and then make a switch on your external box a stand-in switch for that switch. Repeat for a switch that access Scene 5. You can use a switch on a high number view if you like.

See this post. I didn't configure the switches do the same thing you want to do, but the process is the same. I'm using the same switch you have.

Also, see this post for a tip to access three scenes on two switches without having to "go through" one of the other scenes to get to any of the other scenes. With three scenes on two switches, you could use switch 3 for scene 4.

Personally, I would assign those stand-in switches to change views. That way view 1 has three (or four) scenes and view 2 has the next three (or four) scenes.
