Something terribly wrong with my guitar tone...pickups?

Hi gang! So I have a great tone (subjective of course) in my Axe Fx II and I have noticed there are some strange sounds generated when I play chords. Has anyone heard sounds like this before?Also there is no outside interference impacting the strings (like fans) So it's interesting the tone has some sort of "rotating" sound at some points. I had a guitar tech install Seymour Duncans (JB, Jazz), could this be the issue? Thanks!

Hi so it's got this rotating sound...(e.g the low e power chord) and then this abrasive "rotating sound' when I played the high pitched d minor chord...

That is called "beating"... Your guitar is out of tune.

Part of that is due to the tuning issue @unix-guy mentioned. Part of that is just what happens when you play many notes together.

1. Tune your guitar.
2. Reduce some low end before the distortion ('Bass' knob and/or 'Low Cut' switch in the Amp block).
3. Then add some low end back, after the Amp block (if necessary?).
4. Probably too much gain for complex chords?

TUNE.....your chord has tons of distortion and is what I know as "blooming"....there are harmonic overtones that are coming through and IS out of tune..........sounds bad indeed brother.
