[solved] Set up for scenes Help!

Out of the box my FM3 will not go to Scenes, Preset or any other mode when I follow the directions from the manual.

What am I missing? I tried tapping and holding the middle and right/Left buttons and the button screens say nothing.

Help!

I assume you are meaning the Scenes layout? The FM3 doesn't have "modes"...

on the front panel, tap Home
press the E knob for the Setup menu
press Enter on FC/On-Board switches
page right all the way to Default Footswitches
press Enter there to put the defaults

My new FM3 had no Layouts setup at all. No big deal really. I will end up setting them up as I need, but though that was a little strange?

I just thought the manual would include the steps Chris laid out (Thanks)!!.

It implies you turn it on and hit the middle button for 'scene layout'

Mine came pre loaded.

they should be loaded when you turn it on the first time. it's possible that step was not done before shipping i guess.
