SOLVED: FM3-EDIT stuck "communicating" but is connected?

Try re-selecting the In/Out port.

You're connected to COM1... Select the FM3 instead.

This option is not available, in my case. So I ask for help. I haven't figured out the problem yet

Install the very latest FM3 EDIT (if not done so already).

Have you installed the very latest USB drivers? There were some new ones out in March 2024, that amongst other things, fixed some Windows USB issues.

Do you have any other MIDI devices connected and active (eg a keyboard)?
