Show us your VP4 pedalboard / rig!

VP4 is post amp.
It really simplified my rig and sounds fantastic.

AM4 and VP4 connected together and hooked into the AXE-FX 3 turbo MKII OUTPUT / INPUT 4 and can be moved around anywhere in the AXE-FX 3 signal path.

Boss vg-800 and Boss gm-800 connected via serial cable together with a Boss gk-5 pickup on my Kiesel Tim Miller M6 guitar and the output from the gm-800 goes into INPUT 2 of AXE-FX 3 and the output from normal guitar jack to the input of AXE-FX 3. These 2 Boss units with the gk-5 hex pickup gives me tons of guitar synth options and different tuning options without the need of actually tuning my guitar and virtual guitars and even extra amps / effects if i want them.

Then I have a Empress Effects ZOIA for more crazy effects in OUTPUT 3 / INPUT 3 that can be moved around anywhere in the AXE-FX 3 signal path.

NOTE: AM4 and VP4 is safe on top of AXE-FX 3. The edges hang off just a little but they're sturdy and besides I use the editors a lot anyway and sit in front of my computer most times.

I can hear Nigel Tufnel asking "How much more Fractal can you Fractal? None. None more Fractal" 😎

I wired up a 24" board around the VP4 with Kingsley tube preamps and analog comp and drives. They feed the returns of the BadCat Ocelots in stereo. They also have Torpedos and load boxes embedded, so they can go direct with or without cabs.

I even picked up a Greer Lightspeed just because the Fractal model sounds so great 😂

This little rig sounds great!!!

Hello, I am new to the Fractal world and I'm curious as to why you use both the FM9 and the VP4? I was under the impression that the FM9 would have every effect that the VP4 has?

This is a older picture so my setup is different now. My set up now is axe-fx 3 with VP4 and AM4 in the axe-fx 3 fx loop :D

Either way, the VP4 provides extra things if needed.

For anyone using fm9 or fm3 or axe-fx 3 and need extra plex or pitch or synth blocks (and other effects) etc.. the VP4 is a good add-on. Makes a great add-on with the new AM4 too!

VP4 on hyvä lisäosa. Toimii loistavasti myös uuden AM4:

FM3 + VP4 is also a great combination. It's nice to have some power left over from FM3 when using VP4 in post-effects.

I primarily use the VP4 for my reverbs, delays, and modulations with the exception of chorus (I now use the Ghost Audio Swirls pedal, which also has a compressor and detune built in, so I don't need to use the VP4's compressor anymore as a second compressor when I want a really compressed chorus sound). For those wondering, the Gameboy controller and SNES controller are mint tins to hold pics or my extra wireless battery. Amps I use are either a Mesa Rectoverb 50 or Mark VII.

I mostly play modern hard rock, metal, metalcore, pop punk, and 80s pop/rock stuff with either my two bands or myself.

Backup pedalboard for me, the other guitar player and the bass player of my band, I profiled the heads with NAM and are loaded on that small Sonulab pedal.

The perfect "B plan", sometimes I use it as main in very small gigs

The StompStation can run 2 models at once, not 3, right? How do you use it as backup for 2 guitarists and a bass player?

I meant that is a plan B if our main rig fail. We can't use it together.
I usually play with a 5150 and Axefx3, the other guitar with a JCM and some analog pedals.
If my and his heads will fail together (I hope it won't happen) I will use only Axefx3 and he will use this pedalboard
