Should I get Hosa or Rocktron 7pin midi cable?

I ordered my FAMC LF+ Pro+ today but will need to get a 7pin MIDI cable bc I only have 5pin MIDI cables. I was looking at MusiciansFriend.com and they have a 25' Hosa cable and a 30' Rocktron cable. I've used non MIDI Hosa cables in the past with no issues but haven't ever used Rocktron cables. Any recommendations?

I used a Rocktron for 2 years for my LF+12 but recently went back to standard 5-pin and plug the power supply directly into the pedal. I did this because it kept happening that I need to be further away from my rack than a 30' cable would span.

I ordered from Best-Tronics (see link on Fractal shopping page) and got a 75' long 5-pin midi cable. The cable is VERY HEAVY DUTY and the highest quality construction. Makes my 7-pin Rocktron look like a Kmart special.

The Hosa and Rocktron are junk. Ditto what rodzimguitar68 said. I bought my Best-Tronics cables 3 years ago, several of them, and I'm still using the original. Can't be beat!

I'm in agreement here.
I avoid and hosa & rocktron like the plague.

I purchased my cables from best-tronics.
They haven't failed me yet.

Try Hans at VAFAM. He made a 25-foot 7 pin for me for less than $30 shipped!
