Setting AMP SAG to 0

Hello, I'm trying to use Axe-fx as preamp into the return of a tube head (Brunetti Singleman 50W), with no CAB Sim.
I've noticed a more realistic sound if I set Amp SAG to 0.
I thought the Master Volume stop to work but it influences the sound again (even if I must set down it from 10 to 5 to prevent clipping).
I thought every parameter of Power Amp section was bypassed but it seems incorrect.
Which parameters are bypassed with SAG = 0 and which not?

Master Volume becomes a simple volume control. The power amp is totally bypassed. See the manual or wiki for full details.
