Search function

What is the best way to search for a particular preset or topic? Can we just search in a particular thread? For example, just the preset section? I’ve used the search function but always get results from all over the forum. Thanks

There's a drop down when searching that limits the scope of a search:



If you click that box to the right of the Search... term entry box, the one that says Everywhere, you'll see the options: Everywhere, Threads, This Forum, This Thread.

If you want to constrain the search to the current thread, pick This Thread from that list.

You can go to the advanced option of search and select just the threads like preset exchange to only show in the results. Assuming you have an fx, you could also check the fm9 and fm3 preset exchanges since you have the extra horsepower.

@iaresee beat me to it trying to find that post but lots of tips in there to get better search results.
