Scene Change brief burst in level

For the first time ever I am experiencing this nonsense where when i change from a distortion preset to a clean there is a brief level increase seemingly on the delay or reverb trail as it goes to the clean. even if the preset is not perfectly even in levels across scenes it should not be doing this. DXoes anyone know where the brief volume increase is coming from?

Looks like its the Delay block that is doing this when it goes from a dual delay to mono. must be some summing thing in that block happens whey before any recall state of any total chain of all effects in the machine.

Share the preset if you want us to have a look to it. Otherwise we can only guess that it may be something with the delay block and levels, but we cannot help much.

I had this. I tracked it down to using scene levels where my crunch was boosted by 2db or so in the output block -> scene levels settings.

I just use a filter block now and it hasn't happened since
