I transcribed bass and most of the guitar parts in it. These are all new transcriptions, except for parts already done for a set of guitar/bass/drum books (Spirit of Radio, greatest hits 1974-1987) released in 2020.

(It has 40 songs. "Complete" refers to all instruments/parts being included for each. I didn't come up with the title.)

You can check out page 1 of each song here:

Do you have any opinion regarding the accuracy of the guitar parts to the 17 songs included in the 'Spirit of Radio, greatest hits 1974-1987', that you didn't transcribe? Are they up to your very high standards:cool:

That's so cool, congrats!!

Out of curiosity... are these run past the artist themselves, or is it all "copyright holder" stuff and they have no input?

Thanks, everyone.

There were some problems in the TSOR guitar book, but I looked through those songs and retranscribed parts (including all of Limelight) or sent notes to Chris Romero as he was putting together the full scores. Chris also transcribed drums/keys/vocals and caught some wrong guitar stuff before I checked it, so I think it should all be good. Better than anything else out there, even if not 100%.

It depends on the agreement with each band. I think most of the time the initial concept/songlist plus a final PDF would at least get sent to their management for approval. I'm not sure how involved Alex/Geddy are in the approval steps or whether they actually looked at the scores.

They have the digital book, which is really cool. Purchased! Thanks for the head's up, that's a great band and a lot of great songs, and a whole lot of great work!

Just curious, how does all instruments work? Is there tab for drums?

Looks like a nice book. I might pick up the digital one. Better than sorting through endless shitty translations I've found online.
