Im looking at the Roland FC-300 controller. I see that it has a CAT5 jack named "RRC2".

Now, ofcourse that connection runs under a totally different protocol than the MFC jack on the AF2 right?
I guess its not possible to use the FC-300 with the AF2 via the CAT5 jack?

Of course it's posible! The AX FX supports MIDI protocol as well... That's why CAT5 midi I/O are exists on AXE FX.

And the AF2 for MFC-101 only.

What Funeral said. You can't connect an FC-300 and an Axe-Fx using a Cat5 cable and expect it to work.

The Axe provides power down the CAT5, the RRC2 does not have power sent down it to the FC-300 from any Roland kit

do not connect the Axe to the FC-300 via a CAT5 cable
