Resetting advanced amp parameters ? I'm a tad confused...

In reading Yeks post -

"Tweaking the amp parameters
•Don't know about you, but after installing any major firmware upgrade, I reset my amp blocks' advanced parameters and dial them in again. To reset the advanced parameters: just switch to another amp type and then back again, that's all.
•This is even more important in firmware 10, because resetting the advanced parameters now also sets the Master Volume to a value which suits the specific amp type!"



I guess I am confused. Do I need to do this for the factory presets as well or are they already "good to go" ?

Tried factory v10 presets and not sure why but they sound harsh. Can understand if it's my own amps/cabs. Will keep at it.....
 
Seen a few ppl here mentioning that already. Can't say I have the same experience, if anything it all sounds even sweeter here, even with the treble pup on my Strat ;)
