Question on Axe Fx II input

Scream at me if it's been asked or better yet, lounge my post but with the new input is there a way to increase input gain without having to create a new patch. It's my understanding the new input "normalizes" the input gain somehow. Correct me if I am wrong here.

On my Ultra when I grab a Strat I just turn the input knob up so high gain setting still have ballz. Will I lose that ability with the new unit?

go to the global menu. there is a parameter called amp gain. it will do what you want.
