Question: Legacy Axe Edit vs Axe Edit 3+

Hi!

Question: I have both an older Ultra and a newer Mk II. I use my laptop with the old version of Axe Edit to work with the Ultra and another computer to run the newer Axe Edit for the Mk II.

Would there be any problems running both old and new versions of Axe Edit on my laptop so I can access and modify both Fractals when I need to?

I too am interested and in the same boat. What I can say is that when I installed the 'new' Axe Edit it took over the icons I had in place for the older one. Whether the old one is still in place somewhere I can't say. Also I am not on Windows but rather Mac.
 
I would benefit from this too. I use a legacy laptop to edit the ultra and my main box to talk to the II. I intentionally kept them on separate machines because it was not clear whether this was supported or not.
 
Yes you can run them at the same time. I haven't tried it on a mac, just be sure they install to different locations (I'm pretty sure they do).
