Question about Mono vs Stereo delays

Just wondering why I hear no difference between the mono and stereo versions of the "digital" and "analog" delay types, whereas I do with the "tape" delay type.

This is using a simple input>amp>cab>delay>output preset (everything at default settings) just to test the effect of the delay block.

Each of the 3 stereo versions of the delay block, default to 100% Spread (Width), and yet the "digital" and "analog" delay types sound the same as their mono counterparts.

Am I missing something here?

yes. the stereo tape has it's L/R time ratio at less than 100%. play with this value - around 98% and you'll hear it as stereo spread. try 75%, 50% and 66% for rhythmic repeats. when set at 100%, the delay repeats will preserve the stereo image of anything being fed into them.
