PSA: Patch 123 is Damaged

Lockups in the area of Factory Preset 123 (Andy's Message) are possible. This preset contains invalid Modifier data that can cause the unit to hang. This has been fixed for the upcoming firmware release.

Thanks! I had some freezing happpening in presets 122 and 124, and after deleting 122, 123 and 124 the problem disappeared.

Maybe I'm missing something (and I'm sure I am :?), but if it's just a bad preset #123, isn't this something that would be fixed by simply re-releasing the factory presets for Bank A? I don't understand how/why updated firmware would fix this . . .

If you code the firmware to be tolerant of this, then any preset with this issue will also be "fixed".

I noticed this on 12.01 or 12.02 I believe, but I assumed I had used a funkified IR or something that was causing the issue.

In my case it does yes. I believe it boots back up at preset 0 or preset 1. It's been happening for a month or so so I've just been avoiding that preset.
