Problem with Wha control - help needed

Hi guys, I need your help. I am having a lot of problem to control the wha with my Mission EP1 pedal (with spring load option) that I have been using for years with an Ultra. The EP1 is connected to pedal 2 port, I have configured it on IO menu as per the manual (continuous) and the controler is set to source external 2 on the wha block (default Wha preset). The dot moves as expected.

When I play the wha is always engage and the FX 8 is clipping, I can not un-gage it :cry(the minimum value is set to 0). Now if a set the control to momentary it will obviously behave differently and I can un engage the wha and have my clean sound or whatever. I am having this issue on all presets and did not try with another pedal.

Did anybody have the same type of issue? Did I miss something obvious?

If you haven't set the wah modifier's AUTO-ENGAGE to something other than OFF (SLOW POS is recommended in the manual), then you'd have to use the wah block's footswitch on the FX8 to engage/bypass the wah.
