Darn, and I was looking for a solidstate transparent-sounding power amp for mastering... :(

Anyway, about Sheffield UK ... anybody else here seen the movie Threads??

Bloody hell that was years ago!! lol I remember it well....loads changed since then but we could still do with the bomb dropping on us, may clear a few of the remaining crap-holes out!

They raised the price again!

I smell GREEEEEED in a world of economic crises.

So best is to order the parts and build it your self
 
Naa. The 3200s price hasnt changed so if you want that one its value for money.

As for the other models, Class-d have had some suppliers (knobs/faceplate etchers etc) go bust so have had to re-source some items (hence the holdup on production). This has meant new contracts and new prices for parts they do not make themselves. Perfectly reasonable explanation for the increase in unit price of the smaller models (the larger one has more bits that can soak up the extra cost).

Anyone pre-ordering (whether they've paid yet ot not) will get their amps at the old price.

Production is in full swing this week. New orders have a 3 week lead time - all pre-orders/backlog will be cleared by this point.

Either way - there still cheaper than anything else there in competition with - and substantially cheaper than anything else of the same quality.
 
Logic explanation but still is the price increase utterly steep!

I mean for the PA 2400 from 169 to 249 and now 299 in less then a year!

PaulMapp. Did you have your's already????????? Any photo's reviews etc??
