This is a Fractal-Bot wish with Axe-Edit implications. I know this is the Axe-Edit wish list, but there's no wish list for Fractal-Bot, and I didn't want it to get missed for consideration. Future versions of Axe-Edit might contain bank backup features, so this could apply there as well.
When I back up a bank, my Axe is left at the preset from which I started the backup, but the edit buffer contains the last preset in the bank. This issue has existed in both Fractal-Bot and earlier Axe-Edit revs for as long as I've been using them.
When I was a newer user, I came back to my Axe, looked at the display, and mistakenly thought that I had made edits that I hadn't saved. So I saved...overwriting my preset in the process.
A little more consistency would go a long way. Can the 'Bot (or future Axe-Edits) perform a recall function after returning to the original preset, to make the edit buffer consistent with the preset?
