Am i right that the Voes doesn't have scribble strips (electronic labels for each switch)? The pics on their site make it look like it has them, but those must be physical labels stuck on the pedal, yes? This is the latest, and ostensibly final, version (not including a re-rack since I added a 2sp rack drawer) until I, possibly, add a power amp kind of thing. Same idea of using rack shelves to hold/transport the floor units that all of my rigs have been built upon.
It's all based on the Voes MX-18, which is a phenomenal piece of gear and should've been the first and only switcher I purchased way back when. I kinda knew it from the jump, but ah well... ! I would've been perfectly fine with it just having LED lights with the switches, but HOLY HELL! It's capable of so much more than I need, but I think this time I'll actually attempt to use more than just the buttons and the lights. And 1 EtherCon cable is all that's needed to run it. At least for the lone switcher. The top 6 buttons are for amps, both short and long press, which are each on their own presets. The scenes inside of those presets are for whether or not a PEQ (or 2), a Gate or a MultiComp are engaged. The middle six are for single effects and the bottom row are for other effects, mostly delays and TT/Tuner for the last button on the bottom. AND THE TUNER SHOWS UP ON THE FREAKIN' SCREEN!!
On the other floor shelf, I do have 2 single switches that run into the "PEDAL 1 and 2" on the back of the AxeFX that add 2 extra cables to the run, but as was the original idea even when I first got the FM3, no audio signal on the floor. One of the switches is used for a "HOLD" delay and the other is my "WTF Button" which engages an effect when it's pressed for weird shit like a Pitch->Ring-Mod->Drive->MultDly sort of madness. That or other things depending what I finally settle on. The 3 EXP pedals are for Whammy, Volume, Wah, respectively. I've considered using one for Rotary speed, which would open up a button on the MX-18, but I'm not sure yet. I'm also thinking about having the Volume be engaged in the same way as the wah and the whammy.
I still need to do all of the programming once I've finished mapping everything out, but I'm thrilled with the possibilities of this! I still have my Voes MX-9 that I will add a single EXP pedal and a single switch to use as a smaller thing for simpler things.

The theory mat you have under your keyboard looks interesting. Do you remember where you bought it? Maybe even have a link?New to Fractal after stepping away from guitar for years. Here's my little corner in my living room. Definition of all the gear no idea haha.View attachment 156944

That's the only negative i can see, otherwise looks great, including features i wish the FCs had, like multiple commands per switch. I'm afraid not being able to label the switches dynamically is probably a non-starter for me though.
