Wish Polarity Switch on Cab Slots

With the addition of the "Auto-align" for the Dyna-cabs in the latest firmware. I think having a polarity switch on each cab slot is a necessary addition.

Searching for tones by finding what sounds bad and flipping the phase of 1 mic is a fairly common technique that I find very useful for getting a nice relationship between 2 mics. It would also enable the use of positions where the two mics are naturally more out of phase and flipping the polarity would then allow them to be useable.

The current way of achieving this requires panning both slots hard L/R, adding a filter block with pans recentered and phase flipped on one channel. This is like 4 steps and an extra block that could be instead 1 button.

I posted something similar in the beta thread. To avoid clogging up the firmware thread with requests, I decided to just make it a wish-list.

Thanks!

I’ve used this technique in the studio many times. It’s a great way to hear what’s getting cancelled, and then when you flip it back, it sounds massive! Lots of fun!
