I doubt it's a battery problem. My guess is that something went wonky and wiped the SRAM. Do a system reset and then restore the factory banks from the backup FLASH.

Y at this point contact support. The only thing that made me think about the battery was the fact the presets were empty
As you found out, no (or empty) presets will cut all sound.

I did contact support for europe G66.They said that some units that came in MAY did have these kind of issues and they have to replace the mainboard.This is a real pain for me because I live in a country in europe that you can't order or do anything from the internet. Some friends that live in Switzerland bought the Axe and now I have to give them the mainboard so they can send it to G66 and replace it with a new one.I still hope it can be fixed because I can't imagine to play through something elsse after I played with Axe fx.

Don't panic man.Not everyone has the same luck and they didn't say all the units but just some of them and we don't know the number.Myabe I am the 4th or the 5th,who knows?
