platform for exchanging patch FX8? If so where?

So, if I download an AxFx preset, is Can I use the software for the full AFX to look at the FX blocks and settings?

Eventually I would like to see a way to strip the FX portions from a shared Axe preset and save just the fx to my fx8.
 
This is my first post, but after using the fx8 for a few weeks, I must say the ability to share presets would be awesome. I am very new to the modeling arena and honestly don't understand the vastness that is all the editable parameters on the fx8. I'm learning but it's slow going. I would imagine having folks, like so many here, who understand all that is possible sharing their presets for different effects, I would be able to shorten my learning curve for sure.
