Ping pong delay/dual amps

Would anyone be so kind as to run me through setting up the ping pong delay to create an effect where the delay pings and pongs between two amps panned hard left and right? Ping always left amp, pong always right amp, or vice-versa?

I’d put the delay block before the amp and set the amp inputs to left and right. May be a way to do it with the delay block after the amp using 2 Volume blocks and selecting left and right inputs.

Try these for delays after the amp - I chose a clean and dirty amp to demonstrate the concept, so the tones aren't too important. Version A is set up so that you get Amp A&B summed down the center with Amp A as ping and Amp B as pong. Version B pans Amps A&B hard left/right with their associated ping/pong signal. Note that I'm on FW 12.08 beta 3.
