Owners Manual

The new version will be announced when Cliff asks me to put Q7 on the main website. There are also some last minute changes coming, but I thought it was better to have the newest version up in the meanwhile.

We don't have hard copies of the full manual anymore.

PS: A new AX8 manual was posted today and a new Axe=Fx II manual should be up some time soon. I'm converting it from Word to InDesign, which is a chore but makes things better in the long run.
When I'm not noodling, I'm a professional technical writer—been in the game for 15 years. As far as I know, InDesign doesn't really support reuse (which would be so advantageous as you'd only have to maintain one copy of all the documentation for the blocks, functions common across all the modelers, etc.). Typically, a flavor of XML called DITA is the way to go--it also cross-publishes to HTML with hardly any added work. Also, translated documentation worldwide might get cheaper if you look into a CCMS (that database-izes DITA topics) with a translation memory. My 2¢
