Output 2. What am I doing wrong?

I’ve got Output 1 going out to Front of House. I want Output 2 to send the same thing to my FRFR. I’ve set output 2 to match output 1. I got nothing. Needs to be a global setting. I’m not remaking every patch in this thing with a second output.

Ok... I couldn't tell for sure.

Are you sure you've got a good cable connected to your FRFR and the unit itself works? Try swapping your Output 1 over to your FRFR and see if the works.

The Copy Output 1 setting is all you should need. You don't happen to have an Output 2 block in the preset do you? That will override the the Copy setting.

Make sure you’re physically plugged into the Out 2 jacks and not something else. Also remove any Out 2 blocks from your presets. Then it will work.

I've tested and reseated all the cables.

I've tested the FRFR with output one (It's a QSC PA speaker). Works fine. I get sound out of the FRFR when it's plugged into Output 1. I plug Output 1 back into the FOH I get sound.

I plug Output 2 into the FRFR and I get nothing. I test cables. All work. Try again. Nothing.

No Output 2's in any presets.

Output 2 is turned all the way up and set to Copy Output 1. Nothing.

Do I have a faulty FM3?
 
Chapter 4 in the manual is useful for this, especially p. 32. Also you probably should change OUT 1 to +4DBu for the FOH feed. See p.27 for more details.

I don’t have a picture of the back of it plugged in, but I’ve highlighted the original photo where you can see the cable plugged in. I’ve highlighted the outputs I used on a pic of the back panel and found a diagram from the manual showing exactly how I had it plugged in.

Mh. Looks alright ... have you tested a factory preset?
There is also a FOH/CAB preset which uses out 2.
 
I have one last idea: Maybe you have mapped a MIDI CC to the output 2 output and not sending anything?
My band buddy had something like this.
 
Back up presets, Press-and-hold both EDIT and HOME at startup to bypass and reset the system settings, then try a clean firmware install. If still nothing, contact support as suggested. Is this a new unit purchased directly from FA? Has Output 2 worked in the past?
