Output 1 and 2 Level Question

I was speaking with my soundman last night about the levels for my in ear monitors as my band recently made the switch to in ears. My rhythm level is great and I can hear myself fine but as we play play with a second guitarist, I boost my volume for solos which is great for FOH but a little much for my in ears. Is there any way to set up a patch for my solos whereby I only have a slight increase in volume for my in ear mix but have a higher volume boost coming out of the other set of outputs? I am thinking of of an effects loop block at the end of my chain as a starting point? Thank you for the help.

Yes, that will work. You can use scenes and set the main levels for the fx loop and the output 1 up for a scene. This will give you seperate boost levels for out 1 and out 2.

I'm confused now that I have tried this. Do I still need to put a FXL block in my chain if I am using the mixer block?
