Other hobbies!

Sixstring

Legend!
It's been a wile since I've posted up some of my work!

Aside from playing guitar and lusting after amp tones I wood work! I work mainly with Hawaiian woods and being part Hawaiian I some what involve myself in the culture.

Here is a "Lei O Mono" a Weapon of war used by ancient Hawaiians. The body is made from Milo Pronounced "Me low" The teeth are genuine Tiger shark and are set and lashed with epoxy and hemp string. The shadow box is made from Mango wood and Wange biscuits at the corners backed with felt.

Here is a Clock from a Mig 21! A customer wanted me to make a base to hold it. Something a little different for me but it was nice to do something else! Enjoy!

My homegrown dual-mono-plexi with switchable dual rectifiers and dual eff-loops, all tube (except for the switchable silicone rectifiers of course).

I'd say my hobby is hobbies in all directions, many in technical and creative directions.

Nice! I build tube amps on occasion also.

This is a stereo 22WPC amp I used to use to amp my old ToneLab SE and various other gear over the years. 7591 outputs, HIWATT fixed bias PI, modified Simcha Delft "Moonlight" preamp.

I have a pretty complete woodworking shop, although I mainly do lathe work...primarily bowls and hollow vessels. Here are a few examples:

I'm also a certified and licensed firearms instructor, but I generally avoid posting pictures of my guns. ;)

Guitar is taking the all consuming mantle lately after it had taken the back burner for the prior 15 years.

Most recently, I had played Magic the Gathering quite a bit (mostly online). I stepped away from the game last year, sold a ton of my magic cards along with my old music gear to get my Axe.

I still grind Magic Online finance to fund music purchases.

Currently, other than music, soldering (music adjacent).
