"On The Run" preset played live

I modified it to some extent, and my keyboard player adds loads of things too, but thanks to the one that shared it!!
My Pink Floyd cover band playing it live three months ago:

If you are interested on how the other songs sound with an Axe, the whole concert is on youtube, my guitar is played through an Axe FX, direct out to the FOH:

Wow! Well done! Very impressive. David Gilmour was the single biggest influence in me ever buying my first guitar.

These vids should keep me going at work this morning.

Any interest in sharing some patches? Gilmour is also the reason I sold my VHT and few pedals for the axe. Still having a hard time nailing a lot of it.

Bravo, great covers, great playing, great tone!!
Indeed - super job on all of it.

Couple questions...

-Noticed that both L/R on input 2 is being used - would you please share your overall configuration?

-Are you using the IR you posted in the ultra-tweed twin thread here: viewtopic.php?f=11&t=6982&p=68374#p68374?

-And finally the no-brainer... would you please post patches?

For people interested in nailing David's tones, this is the single largest and most accurate source of information on the Internet: http://www.gilmourish.com/

The Gear Guide breaks down every single album, showing in depth the equipment used and modifications/settings for everything. It's essential and I hope will help with your Axe-FX programming.

Stunning!

I was in a Pink Floyd band - bought about $700 worth of pedals to cover the basic drives and modulators just for the rhythm parts - and I never sounded half that good. Bravo!

Excellent stage show too. Ours was very well done with Mr. Screen and all, but obviously you guys had a good budget for the stage show!

What amps/drives/modulators are you favoring for, say, the Wish You Were Here album tones? Are you running direct or into guitar cabs?

That is an impressive tribute band! Love how you got into it during 'Comfortably'. You could see the band members enjoying themselves when you extended it!

Well done!

Ron

Fantastic stage show, great playing, very well done. Your solos and tones sounded great.

I particularly liked that you do "On the Turning Away", one of my fav tunes.

Fantastic! Everything! From the lights, to the band, and the place! Stellar performance, man. Did you get all those tones from the Axe, or have you also used a fuzzface for the Dark Side and earlier tunes?
BTW is that a Super-Vee locking trem that you´re using? If so, what´s your feelings about it? I am interested about installing one in my strat.
What pickups are you using on your strat?

Glad you guys like it.
My presets are basically useless for you, cause I use several external elements. I use a 1U rack that I built with analog effects, and all the time the rotating speakers are ON (more evident some times, subtly others), adding not only the effect but "filling" with their tone.
I'm using redwirez cabs right now, and the settings for Hiwatt and Tweed Twin I posted not long ago.
Right after the amp block, before the cab, I have a effects loop block, from there I go to the Phonic power amp which feed the two rotating speakers set to slightly different speeds. There are four microphones there (two for each, hard panned) taking the sound from the speakers and going back to the mixer in my rack, where it goes to the effects loop return (L and R, that's why I have both ON).
I also use one of the two remaining channels of the rack mixer (6 channels total) for the talk-box microphone, and the last one for the Theremin when I use it.
Then I output L/R direct to the FOH mixer, although I split my signal so I can have the guitar in stereo in my in-ear wireless monitoring system (in the rack too). The remaining element is the wireless transmitter.

The "analog effects" 1U rack has a BOSS CS-2, a MXR Dynacomp, Colorsound T/B Booster, Tube Driver, RAT, Big Muff, Phase90, Electric Mistress, BOSS CE2 and a reversed wah. The GCX is used to switch them ON/OFF via MIDI.
I put a Fuzz Face in my guitar (I wanted it to be before any buffer, and since I use wireless transmitter that's the solution), which I activate with a switch.
For delays, I use the Axe ones.

The strato pickups are kinman, and the tremolo bar I built it myself too.

Wonderful tone, playing, stage show, etc.
I like the breakdown of the rack, also. Keep up the great work!

Kevin

Really appreciate the time you spent with the breakdown and had a chance to view some of the other youtube vids - outstanding! I was wondering if you could comment on the rotating speakers - I am always intrigued when someone comes up with some FANTASTIC sounds using a system I am unfamiliar with. The Gilmourish web site talks about this system. Do you vary the mix to the speakers? What is the reasoning behind returning the miced sound from the rotating speakers to the Axe instead of just to FOH? Also, with going direct , do the rotating speakers produce any problems with stage volume?

Thanks in advance - WAY COOL setup.
