OMG9 - too much? FM3+EV+Dual Switch Sufficient?

You can use 2 layers of 2 pages and get back and forth. Try the setups and see if they don't work for you. Presets, scenes, effects then under presets 2 layers. Using one at hold to get you back to the main as well as using the others to go to other layers. Since you are working with 6 each you can set them up and have them going back and forth. You obviously can't have just 3 switches do everything without utilizing the other layers and views. Once you try one out you will see that you can do what you want really quickly and easily.

So looking for a little insight from experienced users. I'm still in the theoretical Fractal world; way back on the FM3 waitlist and have never used a Fractal device. Currently running an Avid Elevenrack with a Behringer FCF1010. I basically just switch presents and do multifunction parameter with the second expression pedal (the other is always volume). I tend to use a lot of delay so have to do a little tap dancing to get to the effects mode to do tap tempo, which I really like.

Anyway, from reading I'm thinking I will be primarily a Scenes kind of guy on the FM3 and just switch scenes as I play through tunes, but would love to have at least one FS which is dedicated tap tempo. Is anyone doing this? It seems like the FM3 plus dual external switch will do that. Ideally, I'd still be able to do two expression pedals, but it does sound like if I go this way I can only run one expression.

I'd appreciate any thoughts on this.

Best set up for what you want is to get the FC 6. You will not be able to have an external switch and 2 pedals.
But tap tempo on an external is not an issue - and works very well.
