Non-US AC? No problem?

Got a gig in Australia this week and I'm taking my Axe-Fx. I shouldn't worry because the American units can run on 220v, right? I know the manual says it's fine, but I'm a little freaked out about it. Do any Americans here have any experience/trouble with overseas voltages?

Afaik, the unit is exactly the same as sold in europe from G66. And most european countries have 220/230V. But of course, you need a different power cord. Australia got a type I plug, as seen here:

No problems at all... Plenty of Aussie users of the Axe-FX. I've bought two from US based sellers, received them and plugged them in and they have chirped along without problems.

If you do get stuck with a problem while here, no doubt a shout out to many of the Aussie members, or a call to the local distributors - Independent Music in Brisbane, will set you straight again.

Well, the festival went okay. Production had step-down trannies for 110v, so it was a moot point. The airline knocked a wiring harness loose in my MFC, however, and killed a row of switches. Sure wish I had discovered that sometime before midway thru the show. ;-)
