There are many videos with Grissom discussing designing the guitar. The pickups are exclusive to that guitar and are based on some PAFs that were in his ES-335, there's the neck, and the splits on the pickups are good for a Strat neck sound and a Tele bridge.
I love the DGT pickups and always search for them on Reverb or Ebay and score them when I can. I have two sets in other guitars. The only way you can get the pickups is to buy a DGT or go for a Private Stock guitar. Per Grissom's request, they won't install them in other PRS guitars - I've asked, lol.
