Where did you read a new FM9 version is in the works?I was thinking of buying another fm9 for a backup. I heard some clamoring there is a new version coming out. Can anybody validate this?

Fractal has already said that the Axe IV isn't imminent. That means that a new FM unit isn't either.

Actually Cliff aluded to it here in these forums back in Oct when talking about Nam capability in future gen, but nothing concrete. It's gonna be awhile.Geez, how forums do I need to follow for my Fractal news and gossip? (FYI - most of us already figured it would be a while before we see AFX4, ad even longer for FM). But no one should be shocked that gear speculation starts happening harder and faster when NAMM rolls around (even though Fractal has never really aligned with NAMM schedules).

This is actually what I am guessing. A friendlier interface.could even be a change in UI for the FM's I hope.
None. It's all been discussed here. The forum has a search feature.Geez, how forums do I need to follow for my Fractal news and gossip? Nope. I used to follow Cliff on about 7 forums back in the day.None. It's all been discussed here.

My screen shot above is from TGF. I did post that in the Lounge here also, so maybe that's where you saw it? As far as I know, that info wasn't posted here directly.I have no idea what you are talking about, but sure...this is the only forum i'm on for gear and all the information somehow magically worked its way in to my brain, but yea, it wasn't posted here...
I didn't realize alot of you fine folks are also on TGF. I am on The Gear Page, but I guess that is not as cool? I also saw a post last week on the TGF that Fractal was saying they were going to announce something at NAMM. I have friend that is new to modeling (Tube snob) that wants to check out Fractal but I had to tell him they don't exhibit there. Do they have a suite or something where I can direct him to turn him over to the dark side?My screen shot above is from TGF. I did post that in the Lounge here also, so maybe that's where you saw it? Both places aren't very cool at times.I didn't realize alot of you fine folks are also on TGF. I am on The Gear Page, but I guess that is not as cool?
There will be a "surprise". Fractal confirmed that this surprise is a new product but would not be the next generation of Axe-Fx. As far as I know, Fractal doesn't have a booth at NAMM. I think it's just going to be announced during this timeframe.I also saw a post last week on the TGF that Fractal was saying they were going to announce something at NAMM.
Yeah this is the second day - I live right by where its being held but not going to it. My friend is going and wanted to check out Fractal somewhere. Hopefully there will be some AM4s on the floor at other Vendor booths for him to check out. Both places aren't very cool at times.

Also, isn't NAMM almost halfway through now? Where's the surprise?
