Dell has an 8K (!) 32" monitor with 10 bit color for $4K. Stand included. No million-to-one contrast ratio, but that's a bullshit number anyway: it can't be achieved between pixels that are close by. In Apple's case it's achieved with dynamic multi-led backlight like in some LCD TVs.
