I've been using a DD-7 on the "hold" function lately, and it's basically the same functions as the Axe-II looper, only clunkier (the DD-7, not the Axe-FX) and while it's fun, and great for writing, it could really benefit from some more features if I wanted to use it live. A count in, and click for the first loop would be cool. That, and a noise sensing record function, but I think you could actually set up a noise sensing record in the Axe-FX with a modifier, but I don't know.
