I don't think it's software (only). Has to be some type of hardware.
Neural released the Petrucci plugin, so I can't see this being a second plugin.

Would be cool if it was some type of hybrid product - Fractal & Power Amp in one unit with his name on it. I doubt it's that, but a man can dream.

Or maybe I'm wrong - one site is saying they looked up a Trademark and it seems to be software based.

Wouldn't it be cool if it was a plugin from Fractal.....

The only thing that messed this up was Tosin Abasi was actually using real amps and cabs.

I would hope that if it's Cooper and Petrucci, it's something Fractal related. I find the software DSP's to be ok, but they do not live up to the level of my FM3. Distorted tones seem to suffer most to me with unacceptable digital harshness (Tonex) is one of them.

That’s interesting and you’re right about that, I thought his guitar was more clear then. I could tell the FOH was taking huge advantage of the direct aspect of the Axe-FX III the whole show. Honestly I wasn’t sure what all Tosin was using during his regular set. I’m basing all this on my ears about 50 ft. away. Thanks!

You have the preset! It's the Petrucci Rig factory preset! Just swap in your JP IR of choice.
