OK....................................................... Heck, I lived on a microwave for a few years, so I feel ya. At least it's easy to see why the back cooked faster than the front. Heck, with that gap in the upper right, you could try creating convection with a fan pointed in the gap and even things out a bit.
Anyway, based on that, I would look at fried apple hand pies. You can nail that in a skillet or deep fryer.
