Need Help FC-12 with Firmware 1.06

Hi All,

I hope what I did can be reversed.

I understood that there was a firmware update for the FC-12 1.06. I looked at the Fractal download section and the newest update was 1.05, which I have. So I searched Fractal Firmware 1.06 and there it was. I downloaded it and installed. The problem was that it was firmware1.06 for the Axe FX 3, not the FC 12.

I downloaded and installed the correct Firmware 5.07 and then found and installed the correct FC-12 1.06 firmware. Both units display the correct firmware and the Axe FX3 appears to be working correctly however the same cannot be said for the FC-12. On power up, the scribble strips are blank but the correct preset is displayed in the top window. If I hold button 6 and press the 8 button (I do this to go to the "scenes" layout on the number 2 button, but now I get "layout 1", "layout 2", etc.. not what I usually see. No matter which of these "layout" buttons are pressed, there is no result.

I'm hoping there is a fix for this.

Please help!!!!!!!

just reload the default Layouts.

from the Axe3 front panel:

Tap Home
Push the E knob for "Setup"
FC Controllers
Page all the way right till you see the Load Default FC12 Layout
Highlight that and press Enter
