Midi tap tempo sync with external Ditto x4

Does anyone know if there is setting I need to change to get a Ditto x4 to sync with tap tempo? The x4 is supposed have midi sync and the looper light is supposed to blink in time with whatever tempo you send it. It's not doing that.

I am using an AX8, firmware 6 beta, my midi channel is 1, tap tempo is 14 and have the AX8 midi out going to midi in on the pedal.

Does the Ditto send MIDI Clock? The AX8 can receive clock but can't transmit it, so the Ditto would need to be a clock master.

Thanks Philip, you always help me out! Apparently that's my problem so I either need to return the Ditto or buy a tap tempo pedal with Midi Clock. You don't have a recommendation on that do you? We only have one guitar player, so I am trying to get a looper that gives me at least an eight or quarter note to change patches after I stop a loop. Also one that is preferably not as big as a Boomerang.

We use Ableton so I don't have a need for pedal-based clock, but if I did I'd probably pickup the Tempode.

Thanks again. The Ax8 isn't listed in the Fractal products the Tempode supports. Does anyone know if it works with an AX8?
