Midi out when selecting scenes

Does the fx8 send out a midi message when scenes are selected? I'm trying to use the fx8 midi out to change channels on my amp without for each scene taking up a spot with a midi block.
 
You can send one MIDI Program Change (PC) message per scene, so yes. You'd only have to use a MIDI block if your amp requires MIDI CC messages for channel changing.
 
I don't see in the manual where it states which PC messages are sent when changing scenes. It shows the PC messages for presets but not scenes. I must be missing something. PC messages is what I'm looking for, but I was unable to get my evh5153 mini (with midi) to switch. So I thought maybe only presets send PC messages.
