I love my MIDI Moose, the only thing it does is switch five presets at a time. It takes a lot of planning and copying presets around for different songs, but it's really light and portable.
I want to phantom power it, and got this message from Tech21's support:
"The Moose accepts the phantom power via the two outer pins of the 5-pin connection, just like other devices accept the power via the two outer pins of their 7-pin connection. I haven't seen any 7-to-5 pin adaptors, so you either have to modify a cable by moving the connections "in" one pin from the outer position on one end (it's really only the center pin and outer pins that do anything... the rest have no function), or, see if it's possible to do it inside the Axe-FX. Then you can use a standard 5-to-5 pin MIDI cable."
Is there any hope for phantom powering the Moose with my Axe?
